The Tour of İstanbul, one of Türkiye’s major international cycling event, returns from 3–6 September 2026, bringing professional teams and riders together for four days of high-level competition across İstanbul’s diverse landscapes and historic districts.

The Tour of İstanbul is a UCI 2.1 race listed on the UCI Europe Tour Calendar for Elite Men and Men Under 23 and consists of four stages.

The 2026 edition features four distinctly different stages, combining endurance, climbing, urban racing and an individual time trial:

• • Stage 1: Silivri–Çatalca — 148.5 km (Thursday, 3 September)
    The Tour opens on the European side of İstanbul with a 148.5 km stage from Silivri to Çatalca. The varied terrain of western İstanbul will provide an immediate test of endurance and tactical strength, offering riders their first opportunity to establish an advantage in the general classification.
  • Stage 2: Şile–Şile — 150.1 km (Friday, 4 September)
    The second stage takes the peloton to İstanbul’s Black Sea coast for a 150.1 km route starting and finishing in Şile. Rolling roads, repeated climbs and the natural landscape of the region will make this one of the most demanding stages of the Tour and an important day for the general classification contenders.
  • Stage 3: Fatih–Fatih — 85.8 km (Saturday, 5 September)
    On the third day, the race moves to the heart of İstanbul for an 85.8 km urban stage in Fatih and the Historic Peninsula. Combining high-speed racing with 6 laps on a technical city circuit, the stage will showcase some of İstanbul’s most iconic historical and cultural landmarks while providing an exciting setting for an intense battle for stage victory.
  • Stage 4: Beykoz Individual Time Trial — 7.5 km (Sunday, 6 September)
    The Tour concludes in Beykoz with a decisive 7.5 km Individual Time Trial (ITT). On this short and technical course, every second will matter as riders compete individually against the clock. The final stage will provide a spectacular conclusion to four days of racing and determine the overall winner of the 2026 Tour of İstanbul.

Held under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye and organized in cooperation with the Turkish Cycling Federation, the Tour of İstanbul forms part of the UCI Europe Tour, strengthening İstanbul’s position on the international cycling calendar.
